We visited with many custom home builders in the Oak Ridge, Summerfield, and Kernersville area when looking for our new home, knowing we wanted something new and custom. On our last day of searching, we luckily met Matt Walraven who quickly became very dedicated to find us a place that fit our needs and short time frame. With his high enthusiasm, attention to unique detail and a strong eye for design, we decided to buy a Walraven Signature Home in Oak Ridge, NC.

The home we chose was by far the best we had seen, quality, design with high ceilings, oversized doors, detailed trim and ceiling work, heated bathroom floors, luxury upgraded appliances and well-chosen flooring were the highlights for us! Before signing we requested a few upgrades that were made without question including carpet to hardwood in the master bedroom, garbage disposal installed, knobs on living room cabinets and some additional landscaping. These items were taken seriously and handled thoroughly given our tight timeline. Through the entire process we have felt that Walraven Signature Homes showed a commitment to meet our expectations and deliver a quality home - they truly did care that our home was just how we wanted it and that we were completely satisfied customers.

Our one-year-warranty needs (minimal) were met on time and the follow-up was met fairly quickly. We cannot say enough about how happy we are with the choice to use Walraven Signature Homes for our family’s future. After being in our house for nearly two years, we can look back and say with certain that Walraven Signature Homes was the right choice for us - we love our new, beautiful home!

The Walraven Signature Home team took care of any issues in a timely manner in addition to being nice people to work with. The design of our house, the employees and the friendship he and I now have is the main reason I contracted with Walraven Homes to build a second home on our farm.

During construction, Keenan was so responsive and was always eager to accommodate us. They stayed on top of their crews and finished on time in spite of the weather. The finished product was exactly what we planned on and we couldn't be prouder of it!

The home's elevation, along with the landscaping features, immediately drew us in for a closer look. Walking through the house for the first time, we were quick to note the level of detail and quality of craftsmanship that were part of the construction. In the four years that we have lived in our home, we have come to appreciate even more with how well-built this home is. In addition to our own praises, we have received many compliments from our neighbors, as well as people passing through our neighborhood.

While we may not have worked with Matt Walraven during the construction of the home, we did have some changes we wished to make after we moved in. Matt and his team were very responsive to our needs and went above and beyond our expectations to ensure the work was completed to our total satisfaction. To this day, Matt still remains someone we know and trust, who is willing to advise and help us with any questions we may have.

In the end, we found there was not only a difference in the home itself, but the way Matt and his team engaged from the start. They made sure everything was perfect and that all of our questions were answered. The entire process has been extremely positive.
